- The league leaders 18 points better off than Forest who are just two points clear of the relegation zone in 21st.
Struggling Forest No Match For Leaders
Leaders Norwich City are strongly fancied to bag their tenth league victory of the campaign this Wednesday night when they square off against lowly Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.
It’s not been plain sailing of late for the Canaries who have had a raft of injuries to deal with, but they’ve kept the points ticking over and bounced back from a 3-1 defeat at Luton Town to beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 here at the weekend.
Daniel Farke’s side weren’t great in that contest and had to fight back from a goal down to secure the points, but the manner of victory should help them to keep momentum going into this midweek clash against a Forest side who have lost six of their eight matches on the road this season.
Chris Hughton’s tenure at the City Ground began fairly promisingly but the honeymoon period is now well and truly over, as Forest head to Carrow Road with just a single point collected from their last five outings.
With 20 places and 18 points separating the teams in the table, Norwich quite simply look banker material for this Wednesday’s fixture after winning four and drawing two of their last six home games.
And with Forest failing to score in six of their eight away starts, we’re also tipping up a 2-0 score-line with the hosts expected to triumph at a canter.
