Paris Saint Germain vs Caen Betting Tips & Predictions

Paris Saint Germain did what nobody was expecting of them in midweek: They failed to score. They were trailing on away goals from the start after Manchester City held them to a 2-2 draw in Paris, but they couldn’t get past the usually leaky Manchester City defence and ended up losing 1-0 at the Etihad to send them crashing out of the Champions League.

With Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue fixtures coming up they still have the chance to make it a domestic clean sweep, but they will want to get a win under their belts before heading into an important couple of weeks.

Paris Saint Germain have only won two of their last five matches in all competitions, so they are in desperate need of a pick me up to spur them on in the remaining cup competitions.

Caen aren’t exactly in the best form either. They have lost three and won just one of their last five Ligue 1 matches, results which have sent them down to 9th in the Ligue 1 table.

They are still only nine points adrift of 2nd placed Lyon though, and if they up their game soon they have a genuine chance of reaching a European qualification spot. They do need to break out of this poor run of form first though.

I certainly don’t think they’ll manage a win at the Parc des Princes. They have been poor up front away from home recently, with just two of their last five away days seeing them find the net. This makes odds of 10/11 for Both Teams NOT to Score look good value to me, and I’m backing a 2-0 PSG win at 6/1 as well.
