Portland Timbers vs Atlanta United Predictions

Portland Timbers and Atlanta United both head into Monday’s match on the back of 3-2 wins last time out. The hosts beat Chicago Fire at home on Thursday, while on that very same day Atlanta United defeated America in the Campeones Cup.

The limited head to head record between these two teams, their form over the last six matches, and their performances during that period suggest that Atlanta United will either win or draw on Monday and that we are likely to see both teams score. Atlanta United haven’t lost any of their three previous encounters with Portland Timbers and both teams scored in two of the three meetings between the pair. Atlanta United claimed a 2-0 win over Portland Timbers back in December and the duo’s previous two encounters both ended in 1-1 draws.
