Porto had a decent start to the season, winning 2 and losing 1 of their opening 3 games, with the loss coming away at Sporting CP. Since then they’ve gone 6 games unbeaten, winning 4 and drawing 2. One of their 2 draws was away at last place Tondela, a result which would have been very frustrating for Porto.

There’s not a whole lot to say about Benfica’s form this season, they’ve won every game except 1. That anomaly being a draw at home against mid-table side Vitoria Setubal. This is a game they were expecting to win, so they’ll be very annoyed that it’s the one game ruining their 100% record.

Both sides come into the game in very high spirits, and you can expect plenty of goals. Benfica average over 2 goals scored per game away from home and Porto average 2.5 goals scored per game at home. This should definitely be a game for the neutral. Porto being the home side are more likely to edge this one.
