Away from home the Blues are a real force and 18 of their 29 points this season have come away from St Andrews. That fact is all the more impressive when you consider they’ve already played 5 of the current top 6 on the road and their only defeats have come at 3rd place Hull and leaders Brighton.

Preston’s win over Reading on Saturday was only their 2nd at Deepdale this season and with the Royals going through a transitional period before the appointment of a new boss, it was no surprise. The Lancashire club haven’t scored more than 1 goal in any of their 10 home games this term and with the Blues so strong on the road they look good value to get a result here at 5/6.

This game looks like a nailed on draw and it’s a result that you suspect neither manager would be too disappointed by. No team has drawn more games than Preston this season in this league and backing this to finish 1-1 looks good at 11/2.
