Parisiens to have the class to progress

The final quarter-final of the Coupe de France sees Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain host Nice at the Parc des Princes and Luis Enrique’s men will be expected to progress to the semi-finals for the first time in three years.

The hosts are on a 16 game unbeaten run at home – their last loss coming at the hands of Wednesday night’s opponents in September – and sit comfortably clear at the top of the table by 10 points.

Meanwhile, the Eaglets are winless in five games and have suffered frustrating defeats to strugglers Lyon, Montpellier and Toulouse as well as being held to a draw by bottom of the table Clermont in this run.

This poor form does not bode well for the chances against the powerhouses of French football, who are the overwhelming favourites to win the tournament. With vengeance for their sole league defeat likely on their mind, PSG could run out heavy winners on the night, and a 3-0 scoreline looks a good option to back.
