PSV have a mountain to climb

The hosts need to produce one of the greatest comebacks of all time if they’re to prevail and progress through to the next round after losing 3-0 in the first leg in Spain. They were once again poor defensively on the road but on home turf, they’re a different beast. Domestically, they’re scoring over three goals per game and they need to play on the front foot here and tap into that form if they’re to score the goals required.

However, the visitors are in complete control and they’ll believe that they can take advantage of spaces left behind the defence if PSV overcommits when pushing forward. A single goal for Sevilla may be enough to see them through and take the wind out of the PSV sails but the hosts have scored the opening goal in eight of their last 10 home games across all competitions. If that’s the case once again here, the overs look a standout selection.
