      PSV vs Utrecht Predictions

PSV battled hard to get past Heracles in the previous round of the Dutch Cup. They’ve generally been in superb form in Dutch Eredivisie action since the turn of the year. They’ve won their last five matches in domestic football, gaining ground on Ajax at the top of the table, and picking up three points against some good sides, most notably a 2-0 away win over Feyenoord.

FC Utrecht blasted their way into this quarter-final courtesy of a 5-0 away win over second tier side Achilles ’29. They enter Thursday night’s game just battling for form a little bit after losing their last two matches, a 1-0 defeat to Roda JC and a 3-1 loss to Twente last weekend.

PSV thrashed FC Utrecht 5-1 when the two teams met last season and they won the earlier game between these two sides 3-1 at home. Utrecht’s last win against PSV came in September 2012, a stretch of seven games, where they have managed to keep the result to less than a two-goal defeat just twice.

      Reason for Betting Tip

PSV have dominated FC Utrecht in recent match-ups between the two teams. This is being played in Eindhoven’s back yard and Utrecht’s recent form has not been particularly good. It all adds up to the favourites advancing quite comfortably, and the 8/11 odds on a PSV win still represent a solid betting return.
