QPR vs Bristol City Predictions

Don’t bank on thrills at both ends when QPR host Bristol City at Loftus Road on Saturday – under 2.5 goals looks the best bet. Five of the last six of Bristol City’s Championship games have gone under 2.5 goals and there has been fewer than three goals in five of the last six clashes between these sides.

Bristol City are 11th, one place above QPR in the table, but these sides are level on points. Both teams have won 16, drawn nine and lost 16 of their 41 games this season.

QPR have won three of their last four Championship matches, including a 3-1 win over Leicester, and beat Watford 2-1 last Friday in their most recent home game. Bristol City have been in patchy form recently, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six league games.

Four of the last six times that QPR have hosted Bristol City in the Championship have ended with under 2.5 goals, and there have been under 2.5 goals in 12 of Bristol City’s 20 away games this season.

QPR have enjoyed two straight Championship successes at home, and a narrow 1-0 win appeals in the correct-score market. Five of Bristol City’s 16 defeats this season have been by that scoreline.
