Rangers To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Dundee’s last win at Ibrox came back in 2001 and they have failed to win any of their last six in the league. Rangers have lost just two of their last 20 home matches in all competitions and should prove too string for the Dee on Tuesday.

Rangers 3-0

Reason for tip

Rangers have won five of their last six home head-to-heads with Dundee to nil and have scored at least three goals in each of their last three matches at Ibrox. A 3-0 winning scoreline for Philippe Clement’s side therefore draws a lot of appeal.

Rangers vs Dundee Predictions

  • Defeat in the Old Firm leaves Rangers six points behind leaders Celtic with two games to play
  • Dundee last beat Rangers back in 2017, with their last win at Ibrox coming in 2001
  • The Gers have won two of the three meetings with Dundee this season

Rangers can end home season on a positive note

A disappointing defeat in the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park means that Rangers will almost certainly miss out on the Premiership title but they can at least give their fans something to cheer about when they host Dundee at Ibrox on Tuesday.

The Gers have lost just two of their last 20 home matches in all competitions  – with only one these coming in the league – while they also boast a dominant record over Dundee at Ibrox, winning each of their last 17 home head-to-heads stretching back to August 2001, conceding just five goals across this run.

The Dee have won just two of their last 11 league matches and they have failed to impress in front of goal in recent weeks, scoring just twice across their last five fixtures.

Rangers are used to winning to nil at home against Dundee – as they have done so in five of their last six meetings – and the hosts should be able to achieve a similar feat on Tuesday. The Gers have scored at least three goals in each of their last three games at Ibrox and so a 3-0 home victory draws a lot of appeal.
