NBA Finals Series Top Points Scorer Tip
Jimmy Butler is averaging 28.5 points-per-game in the Playoffs, just 1.4 fewer than market leader Nikola Jokic, and is likely to be the Heat’s main scoring threat. Jokic will occasionally take on the role of the creator rather than leading scorer for his team, so Butler looks a good slight underdog to score more points than Denver’s Serbian center and whoever does outscore Jokic will almost certainly be the leading scorer in the series.
NBA Finals Series Best Bet Tip
Each of the last four Finals Series have required six games and only three of the last 10 have been decided in five or less. These teams met twice in the regular season and both games were close. Denver did win the regular season series 2-0, but they only outscored Miami by nine points in those two games and the Heat are clearly a team that up their levels during the postseason so expect these teams to line-up for a Game 6 on June 15.
NBA Finals Series Correct Score Tip
Miami should be expected to win a few games but Denver have played seven fewer games than the Heat and that should make a big difference as the series progresses. The last four champions have all won the Finals Series 4-2, and a repeat result in Denver’s favour appeals.
NBA Finals Most Threes Made Tip
Gabe Vincent is shooting 39% from three-point range in the Playoffs and averages 2.4 threes-made per-game. The point guard has produced some memorable shooting performances during Miami’s run to the Finals as he hit four of his five three-point attempts in the opening game against the Bucks, scored six in Game 3 against the Celtics and also sank five in a game against the Knicks. As such, Vincent looks a strong contender as an outside option to score the most threes in the Finals.
