Rotherham vs Nottingham Forest Betting Tips & Predictions

Rotherham’s revival under Neil Warnock has been one of the stories of the season in the Championship. They looked relegation certainties only a couple of months ago but a stunning 8 match unbeaten run that has seen them pick up 20 points over that period has taken them to the brink of safety. Their thumping 4-0 win at MK Dons, the side directly below them has given them a 9 point cushion on the drop-zone and that will take some overhauling. Rotherham could move up 5 places to the lofty heights of 16th if they win this and the way they’ve been playing you’d give them every chance of doing just that.

By contrast Forest have been edging ever close towards the bottom 3 over the same period. They’ve taken a miserable 4 points from their last 11 league games and have lost all of their last 4. Paul Williams remains in caretaker charge and he can at least point towards a tricky run of recent fixtures to explain Forest’s recent slump but it is clutching at straws somewhat. They were within a couple of minutes of getting a point on Monday night at home to Brighton but conceded late on, something that would have surprised few inside the City Ground given their fortunes this season. Forest are level on points with Rotherham in 20th place but like the Millers may not even need to pick up any more points to stay in the league such is the gap to the bottom three.

There only looked like one outcome last week in Milton Keynes from the very 1st minute when Matt Derbyshire gave Rotherham the lead.
