Denmark to Win and Under 4.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Denmark have not scored more than four goals in any game since a 5-0 win over Israel in 2021. Meawnhile, San Marino have lost all seven qualifiers without scoring and averaged 3.4 goals conceded per game.

Denmark 3-0

Reason for tip

Kasper Dolberg is out of this game while Rasmus Hojlund, Jonas Wind and Robert Skov could be taken out of the line-up. Their replacements, which could include Yussuf Poulsen, are not in quite as good form. Also, Denmark were on course for a 3-0 win until Christian Eriksen’s stoppage-time effort in the home game against San Marino.

San Marino vs Denmark Predictions

  • San Marino have lost all seven qualifiers without scoring and averaged 3.4 goals conceded per game.
  • Denmark have not scored more than four goals in any game since a 5-0 win over Israel in 2021, 22 internationals ago.

In-form Danish attackers could be due a rest

Denmark have enough about them to record a convincing win over San Marino on Tuesday but the minnows can keep their scoreline within the realms of respectability.

La Serenissima still suffer the occasional drubbing, but they have become less frequent in recent years and will be out to keep the score down from minute one against the Danes.

Kasper Hjulmand, who is without Kasper Dolberg for this game, says he will freshen up his line-up from Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Kazakhstan and that could mean in-form forwards Rasmus Hojlund, Jonas Wind and Robert Skov begin on the bench.

Minnows can deny Danes a five-star show

Denmark only scored the final goal in their 4-0 home win over San Marino in the 90th minute last month, so those expecting this to be a bigger landslide than that may be disappointed.

With so little value in other markets ahead of this one-sided clash, it could be best to take Denmark to win without five goals being found in 90 minutes. They have not scored more than four goals in any game since a 5-0 win over Israel in 2021, 22 internationals ago.
