Santos have had an inconsistent start to their Serie A campaign with two wins, two losses and two draws keeping them from advancing from a midtable position. They have both scored and conceded in excess of a goal a game though with four of their six games beating the 2.5 goal line so far.

Atletico-MG have fared a little better overall, winning three of their first four games of the season but a loss against Ceara last weekend followed a disappointing draw Chapecoense the previous week and they will hope that their form has not disappeared completely.

Six of the nine last meetings between these sides have beaten the 2.5 goal line and, with both sides scoring well so far this term, we’re expecting the same thing to happen in this tie. The two sides look quite evenly matched however and we’re backing this game to end in a 2-2 draw.
