AC Milan and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

AC Milan 3-1

Reason for tip

AC Milan have won two of their last three away games by the same scoreline – 3-1 and another such result should be possible against a Sassuolo side that has conceded 10 times in their last four home games. Sassuolo have scored exactly since in seven of their last eight at MAPEI Stadium and can get one against a Milan side with only one clean sheet from their last six domestic road trips.

Rafael Leao To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Rafael Leao has scored in seven of his last 12 appearances for club and country. He has scored in three of his last five Serie A games and could be asked to start again after being substituted against Roma on Thursday.

Milan must bounce back before Roma rematch

AC Milan will aim to win their fifth away game in a row when they head to relegation-threatened Sassuolo’s MAPEI Stadium on Sunday.

The Rossoneri will of course have one eye on their impending Europa League quarter-final second leg clash at the Stadio Olimpico, but they should have enough motivation to take all three points here.

Whereas Roma may settle for an uneventful draw this weekend, Milan will want to regain their momentum after slipping to a 1-0 defeat at the San Siro on Thursday. Stefano Pioli’s side had been in excellent form heading into the game, but were undone by a set-piece goal and some wasteful finishing.

Giroud and co can win with a bit to spare

Olivier Giroud saw two headed attempts cleared off the line and another flying strike clip the crossbar while Roma keeper Mile Svilar also had an excellent game. If The Rossoneri create half as many chances in Emilia-Romagna they will surely win.

Sassuolo succumbed to a Salernitana comeback last week and were forced to share the points with Serie A’s bottom club. The result leaves them in the relegation zone and in desperate need of something positive here.

They are scoring goals and can bag at least once against a Milan side with few clean sheets to their name recently, but their defence is so woeful it is hard to see them stopping Milan from making the points safe with a bit to spare.
