Draw

Reason for tip

A draw would be enough for Denmark to reach the quarter-finals and they may employ a cautious approach in Leskovac as a result. They look set to get that all-important point too, given four of Serbia’s last seven games – a 0-0 draw with the Danes is included in that run – have finished level.

Draw 0-0

Reason for tip

This pair played out a drab 0-0 draw at Euro 2024 and it would be no surprise to see a repeat scoreline on Monday. Serbia have scored only three goals in their last six games while Denmark have blanked in two of their last three away matches, failing to score at Northern Ireland just 12 months ago.

Serbia vs Denmark Predictions

  • Serbia have drawn four of their last seven matches
  • Denmark have lost six of their last ten away games
  • The Danes are unbeaten in five meetings with Serbia, winning four times

Danes destined for a draw in Leskovac

The final round of matches in the Nations League group stage sees a crucial clash in Group A4, with Serbia and Denmark meeting in Leskovac knowing the winner will secure a place in the quarter-finals.

The Danes hold the advantage, though, as they are two points ahead of their hosts, meaning a draw will do for the visitors – something which could be in the back of their minds ahead of Monday.

Denmark are seldom the most adventurous side on the best of days, so playing for the draw is likely to be in Brain Riemer’s wheelhouse.

Serbia set for another stalemate

Serbia will do their best to break down a stubborn Danish defence, but may falter in their efforts to do so, just as they did at Euro 2024 when the pair played out a drab 0-0 draw.

Monday’s hosts have blanked in three of their five Nations League games this term and, despite having Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic amongst their ranks, seem to be struggling to click up front at the moment.

With Denmark playing for a point and Serbia hard to trust from a winning perspective, the draw, which has been the result in four of the hosts’ last seven games, looks a likely outcome in Leskovac.
