Crystal Palace To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Shelbourne have only gained one point from their first four matches in the competition and they have yet to play a team of Crystal Palace’s quality. The Eagles have only lost two of their last nine games in all competitions and they have managed to keep seven clean sheets in 15 Premier League matches.

      Crystal Palace 3-0

      Reason for tip

Shelbourne have only conceded four goals in the Conference League, but they face one of the most creative teams in the Premier League in Palace.
Oliver Glasner’s side have an xG of 24.3, only Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have bettered that this season.

      Shelbourne vs Crystal Palace Predictions

      • Shelbourne have only won one of their last five games in all competitions
      • Crystal Palace have only lost two of their last nine matches
      • The Eagles have won four of their previous five away fixtures in all competitions

      Eagles can soar in Dublin

Crystal Palace will look to record their third win in a row in all competitions when they travel to Dublin to take on Shelbourne in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

The Eagles have beaten Burnley and Fulham in the last week, bouncing back from successive defeats to Strasbourg in Europe and Manchester United in the Premier League.

Palace have work to do in the Conference League if they are to secure a seeded spot, but they are only outside the top 16 on goal difference.

Two wins from four matches in Europe is a steady start for the capital club, and their ability to stay competitive despite their relentless schedule has proven how good a coach Glasner is.

Shelbourne will expect a difficult night at the office and they cannot even rely on their recent form for some confidence. The Reds have only won one of their last five in all competitions and they should be short on match fitness.

Their domestic campaign is now over, meaning Palace should be far too sharp and have too much quality in the final third for Joey O’Brien’s team.
