Stevenage vs Scunthorpe Predictions
- Scunthorpe have only won one of their last seventeen games
- Stevenage have drawn three of their last five matches
- Both teams have scored in eight of Scunthorpe’s last nine fixtures
No Keith Hill Revival For Scunny – Yet
Despite Keith Hill not leading Scunthorpe to a win since taking charge at Glanford Park a month ago, he has certainly made them more difficult to beat.
They have drawn three of their last four matches, with each of those stalemates ending 1-1.
Scunny have, however, got an appalling away record. They have picked up just four points from nine outings in League Two, while their 30 goals conceded is the worst record in the division.
They look near certainties to concede, and given they have scored in each of their last five away matches, both teams to score looks a good value bet.
Stevenage Need A Win
Like Scunthorpe, Stevenage have a new manager, and like Scunthorpe, he is yet to win, with Paul Tisdale overseeing a defeat and a draw since his arrival at the back end of November.
The Boro are hurtling towards the relegation zone after a run of two wins in eight league games, while they have kept just four clean sheets in their last fourteen matches in all competitions.
They are actually on a decent run at the Lamex Stadium, where they have lost once in seven, but three of those matches have ended in draws.
I predict another stalemate here, with both teams scoring and a correct score prediction of 1-1.
