Go for goals at both ends at Stoke

The best bet is both teams to score in Saturday’s Championship clash between Stoke and Norwich at the bet365 Stadium. Norwich were 3-2 losers to Wrexham last weekend, and there should be goals at both ends in this one.

The hosts have started strongly and sit second in the Championship, having won four and lost two of their six games, while Norwich are 15th with two wins and three defeats.

Norwich have beaten Stoke in six of the last eight meetings between the teams, keeping them dangerous despite their patchy form of two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six Championship games.

The case for goals is compelling. Five of Norwich’s six league matches this season have seen both teams score, and the visitors have found the net in all six of their games. The Potters have been potent too, scoring three goals or more in two of their six Championship games this season, while the Canaries have found the net in all three of their away games.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. There have been under 2.5 goals in Stoke’s last three Championship matches, but both teams have scored in nine of Norwich’s last 11.
