Inter Milan and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Inter Milan have enjoyed themselves over the years against Cagliari, with the champions winning nine of the last ten encounters. Inter last lost in March and should have too much quality for their hosts, although one clean sheet in eight suggests Cagliari can get on the scoresheet.

      Inter Milan 2-1

      Reason for tip

Inter have conceded in seven of their last eight matches and may need a few more weeks to tighten up at the back, but they should still be able to stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to 18 games.

      Cagliari vs Inter Milan Predictions

      • Inter beat Cagliari in both meetings last season, keeping clean sheets in both
      • Inter Milan have only lost one of their last 18 games against Cagliari
      • The visitors have only kept four clean sheets in their last 14 competitive games

Champions to trouble the Islanders once again

Reigning champions Inter Milan got off to a fantastic start in Serie A last week and they should continue that winning run against Cagliari on Sunday.

The teams were two of nine sides to open the new season with a win, but Cagliari should have their momentum halted at the weekend.

Fabio Pisacane’s side beat Parma 1-0 away from home, but that was not a huge upset considering Parma’s transfer activity this season.

Inter hammered Monza 4-1 and they will head to Unipol Domus with a spring in their step. Cristian Chivu’s outfit are unbeaten in 13 competitive fixtures and they have normally dominated this fixture in recent years.

The visitors have won nine of the last ten head-to-head fixtures, while they have only lost one of their previous 18 games against Cagliari.

Including pre-season friendlies, Inter have conceded in seven of their last eight, so that should give Cagliari some hope, but a consolation goal is all they should expect.

Inter won 13 of their 19 away games in Serie A last season and only lost on three occasions, so another dominant performance is expected from them.
