Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in three of Sturm Graz’s last five games, including a 2-2 stalemate with Lazio in their last Europa League game. Feyenoord meanwhile have kept just one clean sheet in eight away fixtures this season, with the other seven outings seeing both teams net

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Both of these teams are locked on five points in the group and have drawn their last two Europa League games, while Graz have drawn two of their last four in all competitions. Feyenoord meanwhile have had two stalemates in their last three away games, including a 1-1 draw at NEC, while they also drew 1-1 at the weekend with Fortuna Sittard

Sturm Graz vs Feyenoord Predictions

  • Both teams have netted in three of Sturm Graz’s last five games
  • Six of Feyenoord’s last seven outings have seen both teams net
  • Graz have kept just three clean sheets in their last 16 home Europa League outings

Can Graz progress?

After winning their opening Europa League group game, Sturm Graz have struggled a touch, picking up just two points from their last three games, which include a 6-0 battering against Feyenoord in the reverse fixture.

The Austrian outfit are in fact unbeaten in all competition since then though, registering five wins and three draws, with three of the last five of those outings seeing both teams score.

Christian Ilzer’s side, who haven’t got past the group stage of a European competition since 2000/01, have picked up just three wins in their last 16 home Europa League games though, eight of which have seen both teams net.

Feyenoord hoping for more of the same

That 6-0 battering of Sturm Graz in the Netherlands remains Feyenoord’s only win in the group stages so far, as it has been followed by successive 2-2 draws against FC Midtjylland.

That means both teams have scored in three of their four group games this season, as well as six of their last seven outings in all competitions.

Arne Slot’s side certainly struggle for clean sheets on the road too, managing just one of them in eight games in 2022/23, seven of which have seen both teams net.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, but the two teams could cancel each other out, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
