Regis Le Bris is coming under real pressure as Sunderland manager after their tame 3-1 loss to Coventry at the weekend saw them remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.

On Thursday, they face Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League, which has been something of a respite from their poor domestic form.

Le Bris’ men beat AZ Alkmaar and Torreense in their first two European games before being held to a 1-1 draw by Lech Poznan last time out.

Dinamo Zagreb have gone a step further than Sunderland, sacking manager Mario Kovacevic just days before this clash after a shock 1-0 defeat to Rudes.

Their former manager may feel slightly hard done by, the defending Croatian champions are only four points off the top of the league domestically and have had a solid enough Europa League campaign, beating Anderlecht, drawing with Hapoel Beer Sheva and losing to NEC Nijmegen.

In Dion Drena Beljo they have one of the most in-form strikers in Europe, he has 15 goals in 12 games in all competitions, and against a struggling Sunderland back line, Zagreb are fancied to get on the scoresheet. Take both teams to score as Le Bris looks to cling on.
