Switzerland and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Switzerland have been in imperious form as of late, they currently top their qualifying group without having conceded in four games. However Sweden do have some quality going forward so can get on the scoresheet, albeit in defeat.

      Switzerland 2-1

      Reason for tip

Despite Sweden’s issues in this qualifying campaign, they have seen seven of their last ten games go over 2.5 goals and they should put up a fight under new manager Graham Potter so it is worth taking a 2-1 Switzerland win.

      Switzerland vs Sweden Predictions

      • Switzerland are unbeaten in 2025.
      • Sweden have lost three games in a row.
      • Seven of Sweden’s last ten games have gone over 2.5 goals.

      Sweden’s woes to continue

A disastrous World Cup qualifying campaign saw Sweden sack manager Jon Dahl Tomasson and replace him with Graham Potter.

The Swedes have just one point from four games and so Potter must win both of his matches to have any chance of reaching next summer’s World Cup.

They start on Saturday with a tough assignment against Group B table-toppers Switzerland, who are yet to concede in four matches from which they have taken ten points.

Murat Yakin’s side are 1-25 to qualify automatically and are unbeaten in 2025, including friendly victories over the United States and Mexico as well as their dominant performances in this qualifying group.

Injuries to Dejan Kulusevski and Viktor Gyokeres have further hurt Sweden’s chances of victory and Switzerland look set to rub salt in their wounds with a victory.

The visitors will have to go for it at some point however and should be able to get on the scoresheet so it looks worth siding with Switzerland to win and both teams to score in this clash.

Seven of Sweden’s last ten competitive matches have gone over 2.5 goals so a 2-1 victory for the home side is the correct score selection in Geneva.
