Lazio can pile more pressure on Torino

Lazio can take the away win and add to Torino’s recent woes when they visit Stadio Filadelfia on Sunday. Marco Baroni’s side have lost six of their last eight home games in Serie A, while Lazio have only lost one of their last ten matches on the road against Torino.

Lazio are five places above Torino in the table, with seven more points. The hosts are 15th with seven wins, six draws and 13 defeats, while Lazio are tenth with eight wins, ten draws and eight losses.

Torino could not break their losing run in their 3-0 defeat away to Genoa, having now lost 12 of the 15 games this season in which they’ve shipped the first goal (80%). They were priced as 23/10 outsiders to win the game, but still would have been hoping to be more competitive than the final margin of defeat.

Six of Torino’s last eight Serie A matches have ended in defeat, and they have lost their last two games. They have failed to win seven of their last eight league matches.
