      Tottenham Hotspur vs Swansea Predictions

Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying an unprecedented season as far as they are concerned. We are into the final third of the season now and they are well in with a shout of lifting the Premier League trophy at the end of it, sitting in 2nd position in the table with just two points separating them from Leicester. 3rd place Arsenal have a tough match at Old Trafford at the same time as this clash as well, so they could find themselves three points clear of their North London rivals by the end of the weekend. Spurs will be high on confidence after getting revenge over Fiorentina in midweek to progress in the Europa League, and a mouthwatering clash with Borussia Dortmund awaits them. This win made it eight wins from their last ten matches in all competitions, and they have won their last five Premier League matches in a row.

Swansea have drastically improved since the appointment of Francesco Guidolin, but they certainly aren’t out of the woods yet. The Swans are only three points clear of the Premier League relegation zone and have found themselves slipping back into their old ways in recent weeks. This is going to be an incredibly tough fixture for the South Wales outfit to deal with.

      Reasons for Betting Tips

Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 win over Fiorentina in midweek showed all the doubters that they aren’t just a one man band. Harry Kane was nowhere to be seen and they still managed to net three against a very good side. With Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, and Erik Lamela all expected to line up against Swansea we can expect some excellent attacking football to be played on Sunday.  Six of Spurs’ last ten matches in all competitions have ended with three or more goals, with four of their last five Premier League matches ending this way too.

Swansea try to keep a tight ship at the back, but away from the Liberty Stadium they have really been struggling this season. They have conceded seven goals in their last four away matches and find themselves with the daunting task of keeping one of the Premier League’s best attacking sides out on Sunday.

I think this is a recipe for goals, and odds of evens for Over 2.5 Goals look excellent value for money. I’m going for a Spurs win as well, and a 3-1 correct score prediction looks good to me.

      Recent Form

      All competitions; most recent first.

      Tottenham Hotspur: WLDWWWW

      Swansea: LDDWWLL

      Head to Head

The spoils were shared between these two earlier in the season, but before that Tottenham Hotspur had won seven matches in a row against Swansea. The hosts haven’t lost against Swansea since 1982. Interestingly, six of the last eight meetings between these sides have seen three or more goals scored.

      Statistics

54% of Tottenham Hotspur’s home matches this season have seen Over 2.5 Goals scored.

      Team News

Tottenham Hotspur – The hosts will be hoping to welcome back Harry Kane after the striker was left out in midweek because of a broken nose. Jan Vertonghen, Moussa Dembele, Clinton N’Jie, and Tom Carroll remain sidelined though.

Swansea – The visitors impressive injury record continues for a week longer: Swansea have no casualties once again.
