Tottenham Hotspur aren’t giving up on that Premier League title, and with Leicester slipping up against West Ham last weekend their hopes of catching them were boosted. They come into this game five points adrift of the league leaders with 12 points left to play for.

Spurs looked in excellent shape last Monday as well, hammering Stoke 4-0 as their two star pupils, Dele Alli and Harry Kane, bagged two goals apiece to take their combined tally for the season up to an impressive 34 goals. Alli also has nine assists to his name, so the young midfielder’s importance can’t really be overstated.

This 4-0 hammering was their 4th win in their last five Premier League match and they are unbeaten in six outings in the league. All of these victories have been by more than a single goal and seen Spurs keep a clean sheet as well, with Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Stoke all falling prey to the lethal Spurs attack and efficient defence.

West Brom have neither a lethal attack or an efficient defence. Their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Thursday saw them devoid of quality once again, with that loss being their 4th in their last five matches. They are winless in all of these five games, with them failing to beat Norwich, Sunderland, Manchester City, Watford, and Arsenal.

This leaves them down in a disappointing 15th position in the table. They are safe from relegation barring a miracle, but it’s still a poor way to end the season, although if they can put together a good run of form they could potentially finish in the top half of the table.

Spurs are just looking too good for any team to withstand at the moment. They have an excellent defensive setup and Alli and Kane are just scoring for fun. This makes another comprehensive win a likelihood, and I think odds of 6/10 for a Tottenham Hotspur -1 Handicap Win offer a fair amount of value given their recent form.
