Juventus to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Juventus have won two of their four away league games this term with at least three goals scored in three of them. That includes a recent 4-4 draw at Inter. Meanwhile, Udinese have lost three of their last five Serie A matches, including a 3-2 defeat to the Nerazzurri – the only top-five team they have faced at home to date.

Juventus 2-1

Reason for tip

Juventus have scored multiple goals in three of their four away league games and look capable of bagging at least twice against Udinese. The Friulians have been solid at home against mainly lower-half teams, but did ship three goals at home to Inter, which may point to a 2-1 home defeat in this contest.

Udinese vs Juventus Predictions

  • Juventus have won two of their four away league games this term with at least three goals scored in three of them
  • Udinese have lost three of their last five Serie A matches, including a 3-2 defeat to Inter Milan – the only top-five team they have faced at home to date
  • Dusan Vlahovic has scored six goals in his last seven Juventus matches

Runjaic has revived the Little Zebras

Juventus may just edge a close encounter against Serie A surprise packages Udinese when the two clubs meet at Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday.

With only two points and three places separating the sides, many will be expecting the Little Zebras to provide a tough test for the Old Lady. Udinese, who avoided relegation by just two points last term, have been a breath of fresh air under coach Kosta Runjaic this term.

His side have been particularly good at home, winning four of their five games and pushing champions Inter Milan all the way in a 3-2 defeat.

Juventus have been superb on the road

But Juventus have been excellent on their travels too, winning two of their four road trips and coming back from two goals down to claim a sensational 4-4 draw with the Nerazzurri at the San Siro last weekend.

Thiago Motta’s side will be disappointed not to have followed that up with a win at home to Parma in midweek, but their never-say-die spirit was on display again as they twice came from behind in a 2-2 draw.

Juventus have the quality as well as the fight to take all three points in this fixture with Dusan Vlahovic looking like a potential goalscorer for them against the Friuli. The Serbian has scored six goals in his last seven games and takes penalties, which is significant here because Udinese have conceded a league-high five spot-kicks in their opening 10 games.
