Udinese vs Venezia Predictions

• Udinese fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point against Juventus last week
• Promoted Venezia were beaten by Napoli, despite having a one-man advantage for the majority of the game
• Venezia  have won just one of their last seven competitive away games

Udinese can back up Juve point

Udinese pulled off an upset last weekend as they recovered from 2-0 down to hold Juventus to a 2-2 draw and they should be able to pick up their first three points against newly-promoted Venezia on Friday.

Venezia kicked off with a 2-0 defeat at Napoli, despite playing with a one-man advantage for well over an hour at the Stadio San Paolo.  I Leoni Alati only won two of their final nine away games last season but they also only lost once.  However, they are likely to struggle for points on the road after making the step up to Serie A and given Udinese’s display against Juve last time out they should be able to pick up a win on Friday.

I Bianconeri do struggle for clean sheets and are without a shut-out in their last 14 competitive games, while Venezia’s defeat against Napoli ended a run of seven successive games in which they have scored so we may well see goals at both ends here and a 3-1 win for the home side is my correct score selection.
