Bodo Glimt Over 1.5 Team Goals

      Reason for tip

Bodo scored twice in visits to Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, and Inter Milan in last season’s Champions League. USG are forced to play away from their home ground at an 8,400-capacity stadium, and they lost three of their four ‘home’ matches in this competition last term.

      Bodo Glimt 2-1

      Reason for tip

Bodo picked up 2-1 wins in two of their last three away trips in Europe, and they can edge out a USG side that struggled in Europe’s top competition last year. The visitors have the fitness edge, given they’re in the middle of their domestic season, and they’ve won eight of their last nine Eliteserien games.

Union Saint Gilloise vs Bodo Glimt Predictions

      • Bodo scored twice in four of their six Champions League away days last season
      • USG conceded 11 goals across their four home matches in this competition last term
      • Bodo have scored twice or more in eight of their last nine league games

      More European success for Bodo

Last season was a breakthrough campaign for Bodo/Glimt, reaching the last 16 of the Champions League. Their incredible finish to the League Phase saw them thump Man City and win at Atletico Madrid, while they won home and away at Inter Milan in the knockouts.

Blowing a 3-0 lead against Sporting Lisbon and missing out on the quarter-finals was a blow, but Bodo took a huge step forward from their run to the Europa League semis in 2025.

Union Saint-Gilloise have their own ambitions of improving in Europe, but their usual home ground isn’t UEFA-compliant. They suffered three defeats in four home games in last season’s Champions League, including 4-0 defeats to Inter and Newcastle.

The 8,400-capacity Batimont Solar Park shouldn’t worry a Bodo side that drew 2-2 at Borussia Dortmund and Slavia Prague last season, while they won 2-1 at the Metropolitano in Madrid and in San Siro.

Bodo are also in the middle of the domestic campaign, and they’ve scored twice in eight of their last nine Eliteserien matches. With USG struggling to prevent Club Brugge from creating chances in their opening game of the season last week, back Bodo to net a couple of goals in Belgium.
