Crucial clash for Serie  strugglers

Verona and Cremonese will face off in a bottom-of-the-table clash that will be crucial for both sides’ survival prospects on Monday evening. The winner of the game at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi will receive a huge boost as neither team have won since September.

The visiting Violins are yet to strike the right chord this season, failing to win any of their 16 games since returning to the top-flight after 26 years away.

Verona are way too short in the match result market at a shade of odds against and can be opposed at a decent price, which seems sensible given they have lost seven of their eight prior Seie A contests at the Bentegodi.

A 1-1 draw is the preferred correct score play as both teams have scored in six of Cremonese’s eight away league trips this term, two of which have finished one apiece. Verona have also had three results at that scoreline, including their most recent against Torino last weekend.
