Verona to recover at home

Having lost three of their last four at home, Verona have certainly seen better days at their own ground. However, they did start 2021 by beating Spezia and they could follow that up by beating another promoted side.

Verona have won each of their three Serie A home games against newly promoted sides under Ivan Juric. The Verona boss meets his former club here, with the visitors rock bottom of Serie A after losing 11 of their opening 16 games.

Crotone have picked up just two points from their first eight trips of the season and they have lost all but one of their clashes with top half sides so far. Following that poor form, we’re backing Verona to claim the points in our predictions. The hosts have scored exactly once in their last five Serie A games so we’re backing a 1-0 home win.
