Verona vs Lazio Betting Tips

Another good performance, but Verona are still awaiting their first win after losing 1-0 to Inter Milan at the San Siro in midweek action. There are perhaps some signs of fatigue for Luca Toni and there are questions about the cutting edge capabilities of this squad without him. However, we like the way Verona has played, even if they only have three points and no victories to show for it through five games.

The same cannot be said for Lazio. Who is this team?? They were back to the impressive version of themselves at home beating a pretty decent Genoa side 2-0. However, prior to that they had lost 5-0 to Napoli. This is a team capable of looking like genius in one game, and then completely clueless in the next.

Away form will already be a pretty significant concern. They did draw with Dnipro 1-1 in Europa League action a little over one week ago, but that performance was sandwiched by the 5-0 loss at Napoli and a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Chievo.

We don’t think that Lazio will show up in a familiar style for this game. They’ll surely approach this with a more defensive mindset and that could lead to a stalemate against a rigid Verona.

2. Struggles away from home

The 2-0 victory against Genoa was brilliant in midweek, but we just can’t ignore the away form from a betting tips perspective. It hasn’t looked good.

3. Verona are due
