Villarreal vs Dinamo Minsk Betting Tips

They got off to a flying start to the season soaring to the top of La Liga with 5 consecutive wins in Spain but a few injury problems have held them back in recent weeks and they’ve lost their last two in the league against Levante and Celta Vigo.

A home game against Dinamo Minsk should provide them with the perfect opportunity to get back on track. Villarreal were beaten in Vienna in their opening group game but bounced back with a 1-0 win at home to Viktoria Plzen. They have tended to rotate their squad a little in this competition but will most likely send out a fairly strong side for this one as they can’t really afford to slip up having already lost once.

Dinamo are without a point so far and aren’t likely to add to that here. They do have a fair bit of European experience now but most of that has been in the qualifying rounds rather than against sides of Villarreal’s caliber and they are unlikely to provide the Spaniards with a stern test.

They have failed to score in their two matches so far, losing 1-0 to Rapid and 2-0 away to Plzen and against a strong Villarreal defence they may not have much joy here either. Villarreal have kept clean sheets in 3 of their last 5 matches and boosted by the return of one or two players they should be able to win this to nil and you can back them to do that at 10/11.

We haven’t seen them winning games by big margins though, as they did at times last season and they have been more grinding out results than blowing teams away. That could be the same here but the difference in class should still be obvious so consider backing a 2-0 home win at 11/2.
