Road warriors Salford can raid Walsall

Salford are in form on the road and they look a good bet to win at Walsall on Saturday. Karl Robinson’s side have been winners on six of their last eight League Two away days, including both matches this season.

They maintained their winning run with a 1-0 victory over Newport last time out, Adebola Oluwo notching the only goal of the game on 51 minutes. Salford have won all three matches in which they’ve scored first this season, and have tasted success in two of the three games where they have been priced odds-on.

It would be no surprise to see Salford score, having found the net in 18 of their last 19 league games, and the visitors will also be encouraged by Walsall’s defensive record.

The hosts have gone 13 League Two home games without keeping a clean sheet and have conceded in 17 of their last 20 at home, including in Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat against Grimsby.

A narrow 1-0 win for Salford looks the most likely outcome. Salford have clinched all three of their wins this season by a single goal.
