West Brom vs Bristol City Predictions
West Brom were really struggling for a results just a few weeks ago. They had won just one in eight games and had seen their usually sturdy defence start to crumble.
However, Tony Pulis has picked his side up and they come into this match having won their last two Premier League matches.
West Brom managed to get their first clean sheet since October in their 1-0 win over Newcastle, and they followed this up with an impressive 2-1 win over the in form Stoke last weekend.
This puts them in a comfortable if unspectacular, 12th position in the Premier League, and they will be pinning all their hopes of excitement onto a decent run in the FA Cup.
That run starts here, and they will be confident of making it past the first hurdle when they come up against the out of form Bristol City.
The visitors haven’t won any of their last five matches in the Championship, and this run includes two dismal 4-0 thrashings.
Both of these 4-0 humblings came away from home, and they contribute towards a really bad away record. They have only won two of their 14 away matches in all competitions this season, with eight of these games ending in defeat and three of the last four seeing them beaten.
This could be the game where West Brom really show what they can do up front. They have excellent strikers in Saido Berahino and Salomon Rondon and are coming up against a defence that has crumbled in recent weeks.
The home side have won three of their last four matches against Bristol City as well, and two of those have been by a three goal margin.
This makes odds of 2.075 for a West Brom -1.0 Asian Handicap Win look really good value, and I’m also going for a 3-0 correct score prediction at 10/1.
