      West Brom vs Leicester Predictions

Tony Pulis has stamped his trademark style on the West Brom squad since taking over earlier this year.

He has focussed heavily on building a defensively sound squad who have the ability to shut teams out and battle to a win, and this has shown in the fact that they have kept a clean sheet in all of the six games that they haven’t lost in the Premier League this season.

But it shows at the other end of the pitch too. They have scored just eight times so far, and they’ve only netted more than a single goal in two of their 12 games in all competitions this season.

It’s also a bit worrying that they seem to fall apart once they do eventually concede. In the four games that they have picked the ball out of their own net they have conceded 11 goals.

This could well prove to be a problem when they come face to face with a Leicester side who have scored in every game they have played this season.

In total, Leicester have scored 27 goals in their 13 matches in all competitions, and their 20 league goals puts them in 3rd place in the scoring charts.

It is this excellent attack and their refusal to give up when behind that has led them towards sitting in 5th position in the Premier League table with an excellent return of 19 points so far. Not bad for a side who were bottom of the table ten months ago.

Their midweek penalty loss to Hull in the Capital One Cup certainly wasn’t ideal, but I don’t thnk it will effect their confidence too much. They have only lost once in normal time this season, and their 1-0 win against the defensively sound Crystal Palace last weekend showed that they can keep a clean sheet too.

I’m expecting Leicester to do the business on Saturday. With Jamie Vardy in such sensational form I just can’t see West Brom keeping the visitors out, and they have shown that they crumble after conceding. But they are away from home, so for this reason I’m going for a Leicester Draw No Bet at 4/5, along with a 2-0 scoreline at 12/1.
