West Brom vs Manchester United Betting Tips & Predictions

West Brom may not have been the most exciting team this season, but they have finally started putting some results together. They beat Crystal Palace in a 3-2 thriller last weekend and followed it up with an impressive 2-2 draw at Leicester in midweek.

This has taken them 12 points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone, and with just one defeat in their last five matches in all competitions they will be feeling confident of pushing further up the table in the final stages of the league.

Manchester United have also found their feet. Admittedly, they were very fortunate to get a win against Watford in midweek, but prior to that they had put in some very impressive performances.

They beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford last weekend as Marcus Rashford made it four goals in his first two games for Manchester United, and by following it up with a win over Watford they now come into this game having won their last four matches in all competitions. If they beat West Brom they will have put together their longest winning streak since November 2014.

It could actually be that Manchester United’s extensive injury list has done them a favour. Youngsters such as Guillermo Varela and Marcus Rashford have been drafted in as last resorts and performed exceptionally well thanks to their confidence and enthusiasm. Their injury list shows no signs of shrinking, so we will likely see the teenagers start again on Saturday.

This, coupled with West Brom’s recent upturn in attacking form, makes odds of 1.725 for Over 2.0 Goal Line look very good value, and I’m also backing a 2-1 win for the visitors at 9/1.
