West Brom vs Stoke Betting Tips

West Brom managed to break out of their winless streak on Monday when they overcame the relegation threatened Newcastle 1-0 at home.

This was their first win in six attempts in the Premier League, a run which includes disappointing defeats to Swansea and Bournemouth.

West Brom aren’t in any major trouble at the moment though. They sit in 13^th position with 23 points from their opening 19 games. They are only six points clear of the drop zone though, so they will want to avoid any more winless runs if they don’t want to be dragged into a relegation battle later in the season.

I think the hosts will find it difficult on Saturday as well. They’re coming up against a Stoke side who have been really impressive lately and have taken themselves to within two points of a Europa League qualification position.

Stoke’s latest result was a completely uncharacteristic 4-3 win at Everton, a win which marked both the first time they have scored more than two goals this season and the first time they have conceded more than two goals.

Despite the poor defensive display you can’t help but be impressed with their attack, and the likes of Bojan, Marco Arnautovic, and Xherdan Shaqiri have really come into their own recently.

Stoke have won four of their last six matches in all competitions and have only lost twice in their last 11 outings.

Seven of these 11 matches have seen Stoke keep a clean sheet, and considering they are coming up against a West Brom side who struggle for goals and are without star striker Salomon Rondon I can’t see them conceding many on Saturday.

I think with Stoke’s combination of sturdy defence and in form attack they can get the three points against West Brom on Saturday, and odds of 15/8 for this outcome are incredibly good value.
