Winterthur are set to miss out on promotion to the top flight again this season. They come into their penultimate Swiss Challenge League fixture 20 points off the top spot. They will now turn their attentions to finishing the season strongly and aiming for promotion again next season.

The hosts come into this match having won three and lost two of their last five matches, although prior to that they had only won one in seven. Neuchatel Xamax come into this game unbeaten in five matches but with just two victories during that period. Away from home it’s been a little more difficult though. They are winless since November on the road and have drawn four and lost four of their eight games since then.
