Norway vs Slovenia Predictions

• Norway are undefeated in six home games
• Slovenia have only won one of their last ten away games

Can Norway make it three from three?

Norway could not have dreamed of a better start to their Nations League campaign, beating Sweden and Serbia in their opening two games in Group B4 to extend their winning run to four successive matches.

Ståle Solbakken’s have been inspired by the form of Erling Haaland, who is the competition’s top goalscorer with three goals and has netted in his last seven international appearances, bagging 11 goals in the process.

‘The Lions’ also have a favourable record against Slovenia, who they have defeated in six of their previous nine meetings, losing just once.

Slovenia struggling to adapt

Slovenia were promoted to the second tier of the Nations League in 2021 and have lost both their games in the competition so far, 2-0 against Sweden and 4-1 in Serbia.

That means Matjaž Kek’s side have picked up just one win in their last seven matches, while their only victory in 10 on the road came against lowly Malta.

Their away fixtures do tend to see plenty of goals though, with nine of 15 containing three or more strikes and Slovenia conceding at least two on half a dozen occasions.

I predict that Norway will win this game with three or more goals in the match, selecting 3-0 as a correct score prediction, while Erling Haaland, given his stunning form, is my any time goalscorer tip.
