Real Madrid to Win

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won 13 of their 15 home La Liga games this term and they head into this contest with eight wins from their last nine in the league at the Bernabeu. Barca have already lost to Real twice this term and another defeat looms after an embarrassing loss to PSG.

Real Madrid 2-0

Reason for tip

Real have conceded just seven times across their 15 home matches this term and they average over two goals per game, while they’ve scored six times across two meetings with Barca this season. The Catalans have been a little blunt of late, scoring once or fewer in four of their last five in La Liga.

Rodrygo To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Rodrygo has scored in three straight games, notching home and away to Manchester City alongside scoring a brace in their last league game. Back him to have a big impact here having scored seven of his 10 La Liga goals at home this term.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona Predictions

  • Barcelona have lost to Real twice already this term
  • Real Madrid have won 13 of 15 home league games
  • The hosts have won eight of their last nine La Liga assignments at home

Another setback for Barca

Barcelona’s inspired run following Xavi’s departure announcement is over, after they crumbled against PSG in midweek. From 4-2 up on aggregate, the Catalans conceded four times without reply to exit the Champions League. Now they head to Real on Sunday, knowing a defeat ends their slim hopes of the title.

Real edged out Man City on penalties this week and Carlo Ancelotti has them on course for a league and Champions League double. La Liga’s leaders have been fantastic at home this term, unbeaten through 15 league games at the Bernabeu and winning 13 of those. Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, the hosts have won eight of their last nine home league games.

Real have already suffered defeats in their first two meetings with Real and a third looks to be on the cards. Barca have lost their first two clashes with La Liga’s top three this term and in the aftermath of their defeat PSG the mood can’t be high. They had a brief bounce which looked like it may push Xavi into staying, but their calamitous midweek loss has undone all that good work.

Real look too strong, having conceded only seven times at home this term. They also boast the in-form Rodrygo, who has scored home and away to Man City and hit a brace against Athletic Bilbao across his last three. Back him to score in another victory for the league leaders.
