San Francisco 49ers take on Arizona Cardinals in Mexico on Monday night and we’ve got an 11/1 Bet Builder tip from Racing Post NFL expert Mark Brown ahead of the action.

Monday’s Night Football Bet Builder Tip

Cardinals +10.5 Alternative Handicap

Although being played at the neutral venue Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, this is expected to very much feel like a home game for the 49ers, whose faithful fans are predicted to have snapped up around 80% of the tickets that went on sale.

San Francisco has one of the deepest rosters in the NFL and look primed to get hot in the second half of the season, but things could get funky in a game set to be played at altitude, some 7,200 feet above sea level, with it noteworthy the Cardinals beat San Fran in both meetings in 2021.

Colt McCoy, who led the Cards to the second of those wins in 2021, could again be in for the start here if Kyler Murray’s hamstring isn’t ready to go, and there’s little doubt the offense seems to run much more smoothly under the guidance of the journeyman veteran.

The 49ers are expected to win the game, but the Cardinals can keep this close enough to cover the +10.5 we’re teasing the spread up to.

Total points – second half over 20.5

Both of these teams are capable of putting up points in a hurry, especially the 49ers who boast multiple players with elite run after catch skills, and it’s easy to plenty of scoring in the second half of this one, with a strong chance of fatigue playing a factor in the latter stages with the game being played at altitude.

Deebo Samuel over 50.5 receiving yards

Samuel has been kept quiet in three of his last four games, including when getting just two catches for 24 yards against the Chargers last week, but this promises to be a good matchup for the star wide receiver, who is one of the best in the league at YAC (yards after catch) and goes against a Cardinals team that is one of the worst in the league at giving up YAC and set to be without their best cornerback in Byron Murphy.

Brandon Aiyuk over 40+ Alternative receiving yards

As mentioned above this promises to be a good day for the 49ers wide receivers, so we’ll add Aiyuk to the bet as well, with one of the staples of the 49er offense being Jimmy Garoppolo hitting Aiyuk on slants.

The third-year wideout has gone for at least 81 yards in his last four starts, so he can confidently be expected to top his alternate number of 40.5 here.

James Conner over 19.5 receiving yards

Conner was forced to miss much of October but looked to be finding his feet again in the win over the Rams last week and this sets up to be a day where he sees his share of targets in the passing game, with the 49ers being tough to run on and there being a strong chance the Cardinals will be playing catch up. He can top his mark of 19.5.
