The Anytime Goalscorer market is routinely among the most popular offered by bookmakers – and it’s really as simple as it sounds.
If the player you’ve bet on hits the net for his team in regulation time (90 mins + stoppages) you win!
When bookies open an anytime goalscorer market for a fixture, you can generally back any player from either team to score.
So whether you fancy staking on an odds-on prolific poacher, a penalty kick expert, a corner threat with a big price or a player on a hot streak – the bookmakers have you covered.
To help you delve into those anytime GS markets as a more informed bettor, we will compile a weekly, updated list of the players that we think have a cracking chance of getting on the scoresheet in the latest fixtures across the globe.

Mohamed Salah (LIVERPOOL vs Watford)
Runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool are expected to cut loose and enjoy themselves against the division’s bottom club Watford on Saturday, and Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah will back himself to get among the goals.
Like several of his Liverpool teammates, the 27-year old has an incredible recent record of scoring against the Hornets, netting six times in his last four appearances against Watford overall.
After an uncharacteristically dry spell between the first weeks of November and December where Salah notched just one goal in seven appearances, the wide attacker re-sharpened his edge this week with goals in successive games against Bournemouth and RB Salzburg.
We’re tipping Liverpool’s number 11 to prolong his recent purple patch at Watford’s expense this weekend.

Sebastian Andersson (Paderborn vs UNION BERLIN)
Swedish striker Sebastian Andersson has hit an incredibly rich vein of form over the past month, firing home six goals in his last six games for club and country during his most prolific period of the campaign so far.
The 28-year old hitman was Union Berlin’s match-winner last weekend, grabbing both of his team’s goals in their impressive 2-0 at home to Koln, and Andersson is a prime candidate to register again this weekend.
Armed with a surge of self-belief, Andersson will feel he has the tools to unlock a Paderborn defence that hold the Bundesliga’s second worst defensive record this term.

Colby Bishop (ACCRINGTON STANLEY vs Portsmouth)
Colby Bishop will be leading from the front again this weekend as Accrington Stanley seek their third League One home victory on the spin against Portsmouth at the Crown Ground.
Bishop has been in fine goal-getting form at late, rattling the net three times in his last three starts to take his overall tally for the season to eight goals in 18 League One appearances.
The 23-year old Nottingham born forward will be taking aim against a Portsmouth defence that has kept just two clean sheets in 11 attempts on the road this term, and we’re tipping Bishop to make his mark.

Sam Cosgrove (ABERDEEN vs Hamilton)
If the rumour mill is to be believed, several English Premier League clubs are eyeing up a move for Aberdeen hot-shot Sam Cosgrove, and the 23-year old striker has another chance to impress his suitors against Hamilton this weekend.
Cosgrove has already scored nine times in 16 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Dons since the summer, and six of those goals were plundered in matches at Pittodrie.
As recently as January, Cosgrove helped himself to two of Aberdeen’s goals in the club’s routine 3-0 win at Hamilton, and we’re backing the in-demand forward to breach the Accies’ rearguard again on Saturday.

Adam Le Fondre (SYDNEY FC vs Central Coast Mariners)
Journeyman striker Adam Le Fondre, formerly of Reading, Cardiff, Wolves and Bolton, has been tearing it up in the Australian A-League this season.
The 33-year old has a double-figure 10 goal haul after just eight games of the new season down under, and Le Fondre hit half of those goals in his last two outings alone.
Table-topping Sydney have been in electric form since the new campaign got under way, and the early pace setters are expected to run up a decent score against Central Coast Mariners this weekend.
With a high-scoring contest on the cards, Le Fondre’s remarkable scoring streak makes him well worth backing in the anytime goalscorer market.
