PSG vs Lille (Ligue 1)

PSG finally replaced Lille at the summit of Ligue 1 before the international break thanks to a superb 4-2 win at Lyon, and the champions can pull further clear of their challengers with a win against them in the French capital on Saturday. Paris St. Germain have won eight of their last nine skirmishes with Les Dogues on home soil, and their dominance in this fixture should continue.
Willem II vs AZ Alkmaar (Eredivisie)
Betting tip: AZ Alkmaar to win
AZ are firmly in the conversation to finish as best of the rest behind Ajax in the Eredivisie this season, and Alkmaar can strengthen their case with a win at Willem II. Only Ajax have won more points on the road this season than AZ, and having beaten Willem II 5-3 earlier in the campaign, Alkmaar’s superior firepower should be the difference again in Saturday’s rematch.
KV Oostende vs Waasland-Beveren (Belgian First Division A)
Betting tip: KV Oostende to win
Oostende are enjoying a fine campaign in the Belgian top-tier and their quest for continental football has been built on a platform of excellent home results. Oostende hold the division’s second-best home record this term, and they can gather more points on their own patch when bottom club Waalsand-Beveren come to town.
Dinamo Moscow vs FC Ufa (Russian Premier League)
Betting tip: Dinamo Moscow to win
Dinamo Moscow have taken nine points from a possible 12 since the resumption of the Russian Premier League campaign and the Dinamiki can continue their fast re-start against Ufa. The visitors are second bottom ahead of their trip to the capital, and they have scored only one goal in four games since the end of the winter break.
HNK Sibenik vs Dinamo Zagreb (Croatian 1. HNL)
Betting tip: Dinamo Zagreb to win
Tottenham Hotspur’s conquerors Dinamo Zagreb have won seven games in a row in their homeland, and the league leaders have won an impressive eight times in 11 away assignments overall this term in the 1. HNL. The title favourites have taken maximum points on each of their last three visits to Sibenik and more success looks possible there on Saturday.
Legia Warsaw vs Pogon Szczecin (Polish Ekstraklasa)
Betting tip: Legia Warsaw to win
The Ekstraklasa’s top two meet for a crunch clash in Poland on Saturday, though table-topping Legia Warsaw seem to have the edge on their title rivals. Legia are bouncing following a run of five straight victories, where they scored an impressive 15 times on their way to collecting 15 points. Pogon meanwhile, have notched just seven goals in their last nine matches, and they could toil again against their host’s more explosive attacking arsenal.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Freiburg (Bundesliga)
Betting tip: Borussia Monchengladbach to win
Gladbach restored some self-belief with a 3-0 win at Schalke just before the international break, and their record in home encounters with Freiburg should offer them more inspiration. Gladbach have won six of their last seven meetings with Frebiurg on their own stomping ground, and they can enhance that record further on Saturday.
St. Polten vs Admira Wacker (Austria Bundesliga)
Betting tip: St. Polten to win
St. Polten have won only once at home in the league this season, though they will never have a better chance to double their haul of victories when Admira visit on Saturday. Wacker are the division’s bottom club and they have yet to win on the road this term. In addition, they have conceded 10 times in their last three meetings with this weekend’s opponents.
Bohemians vs St. Patrick’s Athletic (Irish Premier Division)
Betting tip Bohemians to win
Bohemians have limped out of the blocks at the start of the new Irish Premier Division season, though Bohs can claim their first win of the new campaign against Dublin rivals St. Pats. Bohemians have won six of their last derbies against their local rivals, and they can hold dominion over the Irish capital again on Saturday.
