Dons won’t deny Celtic treble
Celtic are looking to complete a domestic treble on Saturday as they face Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
The Dons held Celtic to a 2-2 draw at Parkhead in the first meeting between these sides this season back in October but it has been one-way traffic since.
The Bhoys have won each of the last four meetings and three of those victories have come via huge margins, a 6-0 win in the League Cup and two 5-1 wins in the Premiership (home and away).
Celtic ran out 5-1 winners at Pittodrie just 10 days before this final takes place and they should have far too much for their opponents as they bid to wrap up a treble-winning season.
The Glasgow giants are the huge favourites so the best way to get a bit of value out of this final could be by backing Celtic to win and concede.
Aberdeen have at least scored in three of the five meetings so far this season and they’ve only failed to score in two of their last nine games overall. Jimmy Thelin’s men won’t give up until the very end either even if they do fall a few goals behind, and they can at least get on the scoresheet against a Celtic side who have conceded in each of their last four games.
As Celtic have some big wins over Aberdeen this season another 5-1 win for the record 42-time winners has a chance in the correct score market. Nicolas Kuhn is yet to score in the cup but he has 13 Premiership strikes this season and managed five goals in four League Cup appearances, and he stands out as a contender for an anytime effort.
