Roma to add to Parma’s struggles

Parma’s chances of surviving in Serie A this season appear to be fading fast, as a 17-match winless run leaves them six points adrift of safety heading into the weekend.

However, there have at least been shoots of life for Il Gialloblu over recent weeks, as they have drawn three of their last five games and have scored in all those fixtures.

That should give Roberto D’Aversa’s side renewed belief heading into Sunday’s match, but Parma will be facing an in-form Roma side that have lost just once in eight matches across all competitions.

Indeed, I Giallorossi have won three games on the spin, including Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League success over Shakhtar Donetsk.

Things have not always gone so smoothly for Roma away from home though, as Paulo Fonseca has seen his side lose five of their 12 away matches in Serie A this season.

Keeping clean-sheets has also been a problem for Roma on the road, as they have conceded in nine of their last 10 league games away from home and we are predicting that trend to continue on Sunday.
