Milan have failed to stay the pace

Milan have fallen to three defeats in their last five Serie A matches and have allowed their rivals Inter to get away despite beating them in the derby at the beginning of last month.

They beat struggling Hellas Verona last week when a Adrien Rabiot goal did the damage, but the 3-0 home defeat they suffered to Udinese the week before was particularly deflating and that reverse does not bode well for a visit from Juventus, who are storming towards the end of the season.

Juve defence gives them the edge

The Turin outfit have won five of their last six matches and have not conceded in any of those victories with a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo being the only blot on the copybook.

The run started with a 1-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Pisa, but their latest wins have been more modest.

They can win at the San Siro on Sunday but this could be the third successive 1-0 win on the road following triumphs by that margin at Udinese and Atalanta.
