Barnsley can claim road win

Barnsley have started the season well and they look a good bet to extend their winning run to four from five matches when they visit AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Conor Hourihane’s side have won both League One games on the road this term, and they can get the better of Johnnie Jackson’s hosts at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

After a 1-1 draw at home to Bolton, the Tykes bounced back in midweek with a 1-0 victory away at Peterborough, securing the win with a goal from Caylan Vickers in the 44th minute. Barnsley, who were priced at 11/8 to win the game, restricted Peterborough to one shot on target.

The visitors will be confident of scoring, having found the net in 14 consecutive League One
games.

Wimbledon, meanwhile, have made a solid start to life back in League One, claiming six points from four matches, although they succumbed to a 90th-minute winner at home to Cardiff on Tuesday.

Wimbledon have seen under 2.5 goals in three of their four matches this season, and Barnsley can edge this game with a 1-0 win. No League One team has had fewer BTTS games than AFC Wimbledon this term.
