Ajaccio are in a rut

After a brief glimmer of hope with a draw against Nantes and a victory at home to relegation rivals Angers, Ajaccio have since lost three consecutive matches and will need a huge performance if they’re to cause an upset by beating Lyon. They concede far too many goals but simply don’t score enough. However, they have to believe they can do something and given the visitors have kept just one away clean sheet all season, who’s to say they can’t?

The visitors will be disappointed with how their season has gone so far as they occupy a spot in midtable having won just seven of their 19 matches so far. They’ve struggled on the road this term and have lost five of their nine away games and have struggled to keep clean sheets.
