Athletic Club in good form

Athletic Bilbao have hit form at the right time, going unbeaten over six matches, despite only keeping two clean sheets during that period.

Indeed, both teams have netted in four of those half a dozen outings, so Ernesto Valverde’s side could do with tightening up in defence.

However, attacking wise they have been excellent of late, netting at least twice in three successive La Liga games, with Nico and Inaki Williams striking five times between them!

Sevilla heading for mid-table

After a shocking first half to the campaign, another change of manager has finally got Sevilla looking up the table, and they are unbeaten since José Luis Mendilibar took charge six games ago.

‘Los Nervionenses’ have scored at least two goals in each of those outings, including a 5-2 aggregate win over Manchester United in the Europa League.

Defensively, though, there are still some issues to iron out, with Sevilla seeing both teams score in three of their last five matches, as well as six of their previous nine La Liga games.
